Premise-Use Rules

Request For Reservation & Terms of Payments
Reservation must be made by the requestor by filling the details required in the agreement personally at Jain Bhavan Facility.
The applicant will be notified the approval or rejection within 3 to 5 working days from the date of the application.
Reservation will be confirmed after reviewing the application for the purpose of the usage, based on the subject to availability of the facility.
JCNC reserves the right to cancel or reject the application with a full refund of the deposit.
When the reservations application is made with the agreement, 50% of the total amount of fee plus a full security and cleaning deposit must be made.
The confirmation of the reservation will only be made after the rental agreement is signed and payment is made.
The remaining balance of the reservation fees must be made atleast 15 days prior to the event. Failure to do so will cause to loose the reservation as well as the deposit.

Administrative, Cleaning Security and Cancellation Fees
All the checks will be made payable to "Jain Center of Northern California".
A $15 charge will be collected for all returned checks.
An administrative service fee of $50 will be made for all cancellation prior to 60 days.
JCNC reserve the right to charge additional fee if attendance is more than specified in the original application.
A $75 cleaning and garbage removal fee will be deducted from the cleaning fee for the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The balance of the cleaning fee and security deposit will be only refunded if there is no damage or loss of the property and facility is left in a reasonably clean condition.
Applicant is responsible for any damage to the building, furniture, fixture or equipment arising through the occupancy or the use of Jain Bhavan facilities.
General Rules for the Use of Facility
If any plan to decorate the facility must be requested in writing at the time of making application and are subject approval. Only masking tapes will be allowed and no nails or tags will be allowed.
Decoration material should be away from the light fixture and must be fireproof.
No open fine or candles will be allowed.
No shoes are allowed inside the Jain Bhavan temple(2nd Floor) of the building and must be taken out prior to entering and should be stored at the (Shoe Rooms) designated marked places only.
Applicant is responsible for locking all the doors, windows and turning off all the Hear/Air-conditioning, lights, speaker systems and all the other items which have been used.
No loud noise will be permitted beyond 12:00 A.M. (Midnight) since there are very many residential houses near the facility. Applicant is responsible to get the permit if any reasons, the scheduled event is going to last beyond 12:00 A.M. (Midnight).
Children must not be left unattended on the premises of Jain Bhavan.
Elevator usage is only allowed for handicapped or any person with the disability and is not open for the general public.

General Rules for Food
Non-Vegetarian food dishes including poultry are strictly prohibited. We recommend vegetarian Jain food to be served within the Jain Bhavan facility.
No smoking is permitted inside the building or compound of the Jain Bhavan facility.
To cater any food within the Jain Bhavan facility must be allowed by only pre-approved and certified caterers who are familiar with the rules and regulations of JCNC and what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to JCNC.
Any paper goods, plastic silver ware, water jugs, napkins and other accessories will be the responsibility of the applicant.
JCNC will be providing only the tables and chairs and the kitchen facility for the cooking if kitchen facility is rented.

General Rules for Cleaning
All tables and chairs which are provided must be left clean in the original places.
All garbage should be tied in the plastic bag and should be put away in the garbage disposal container.
All kitchen floors, stoves and all the facility should be left clean.
All the Auditorium hall and other rooms will be left clean.
Applicant is responsible for removing all the decorations, rearrangement of chairs and tables and clean up associated with the vent and must be responsible for the removal of left over food from the kitchen area.

Limitation of Liability
Applicant is responsible to carry his own insurance and JCNC is not liable for any accident, injury or loss of individuals personal property.
Applicant shall and does hearby indemnify, defend and hold harmless JCNC and JCNC's officers, directors, and elected coordinators from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses, obligation, liabilities, damages, recoveries, and deficiencies, including, without limitation, interest, penalties and reasonable attorney's fee and costs, that JCNC may incur or suffer and that arises, result from, or are related to any breach or failure of applicant and/or applicant's employees to perform any of the representations, warranties and agreements contained in this agreement.   OR
In renting the Jain Bhavan facility as specified in the rental agreement, we agree such responsibility shall remain with us and if we make any claim, we agree to indemnify and hold harmless and blameless JCNC, its directors, officers, volunteers and members from any and all liability, including attorney's fee, for any injury, damage, and/or harm incurred during the use of Jain Bhavan facility.
