JCNC Annual Election 2013
Request for Nominations 

TO: JCNC GENERAL MEMBERSHIP BODY
 
Elections shall be held online or via verified absentee ballots from October 24th to November 2nd and in person during the Mahavir Nirvana Program at the Jain Bhawan in Milpitas. The following positions are open for nomination for the year 2013. Please submit nominations on or before September 16th by 8:00p.m. via online, email or drop off.
 
OPEN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EC) POSITIONS:

    *President (2 Year Term)

    * Vice Presidents
 for the following departments for a 1-year term.
  • Cultural and Community Service
  • Education Administration
    * Co-VPs for the following departments for a 2-year term - Elected CO-VP automatically becomes VP in the second year.
  • Cultural and Community Service
  • Education Administration
  • Facilities Administration
  • Finance Administration
  • Membership and Public Relations
  • Private Events
  • Religious Programs and Activities
  • Technology and Systems Administration
All Executive Committee positions are elected by the majority of the receiving votes of the general membership body. 

OPEN BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD) POSITIONS:


   * 2 Benefactor BOD
 positions (3year term), which shall be elected by the majority of the receiving votes of the general membership body.
    * 
1 Community BOD positions (1year term), which shall be elected by the majority of the receiving votes of the general membership body.

Please fill out the attached Nomination Form if you would like to run or nominate an eligible member of JCNC, for one of the open positions listed above for either the JCNC Board of Directors or JCNC Executive Committee. The nominee's name, position that he or she is running for, and the 100 words or less statement shall be provided to the general membership body prior to voting.
 
Completed nomination forms MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 8:00 P.M. ON Monday, September 16th,2013

You can choose any one method from following choices to submit nomination form for yourself or If you are nominating someone else.
  • Click here to fill in the online nominations form. If you need any help to fill online form, please send email to elections@jcnc.org and one of the team member will help you. It takes 3minutes to fill out.
  •  Print attached form, fill out details and email from your JCNC registered email address to elections@jcnc.org  
  • Print, fill out and send Nomination Form by post mail to:  Attn: Election Committee, JCNC, 722 South Main Street, Milpitas, CA 95035 and notify it toelections@jcnc.org
  • Print, fill out and drop Nomination Form off in a SEALED envelope addressed to Elections Committee, in the Finance lock box near the Bhawan Staircase and notify it to elections@jcnc.org
In case of duplicate nominations for any nominee/post, the Chair or a deputed member of the Election Committee shall contact the nominee for confirmation as to which position he or she would like to run.
 
In case there is no nomination for any position, the Election Committee may extend the nominations period. Only unfilled seats will be considered for these extensions.
