Mission Peak Hike

On popular demand, we are continuing our tradition of hike to Mission Peak, Fremont, followed by brunch in the backyard of Mrs. Sandhya and Mr. Prem Jain’s home, which is very close to Mission Peak- – Stanford Avenue entrance.
Hiking on the mountains is not only fun activities for JAIN families of bay but also hike to hills and mountains has been an important aspect of Jain tradition whether at Palitana, Sametshikharji or Girnar. This is an opportunity to explore and enjoy nature, and experience the hike with fellow JCNC community members.
RSVP: RSVP is extremely important and it is must. It will be a big help for hiking logistics and get exact count for food preparation. Please register without a failure. Please RSVP by clicking at below link by April 30, 2014. Children are welcomed - recommended age 6 and above.

What To Bring, What to Wear:
This hike is with loose gravel, dirt trail and slopes may be strenuous for some. JCNC, or any of JCNC volunteers are not responsible for any loss of item or any injury while hiking.
Address and Parking:
Address: Mission Peak Park, East end of Stanford Avenue, off Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA
Parking: Parking on Stanford Avenue and other surrounding streets is very limited. We highly recommend car-pooling. We will have JCNC volunteers giving lift to the folks who did not get parking within half mile from Base Parking lot. Look out for JCNC volunteers on the sidewalk.
Brunch: On our way back we will be having brunch at Mrs. Sandhya and Mr. Prem Jains' home, which is very close to Mission Peak – Stanford Avenue entrance. Do not miss this opportunity to have brunch with fellow community members in the backyard of Jain family home. Enjoy the breath taking view of mountains. Brunch will be served from 10.30am to Noon.
