Dear JCNC Members, Jai Jinendra! Hope you are excited and ready for the eternal festival, a soul searching and spiritually rewarding auspicious Paryushan Parva starting at JCNC from today Friday, August, 18 for 18 days. The festival concludes by asking the forgiveness from each other, friends, families and most importantly enemies. Remember, we should first forgive and then ask for pardon. many teaching suggests - “Always pray to have eyes that see the best, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that that never loses” Have faith in God.
At JCNC, 18 days of celebration starting from today August 18th to September 4th, 2017, please do participate and take the dharma laabh with the pursuing activities on a daily basis - Prabhu Darshan, Abhishek, Pujan, Snatra Puja, Samayik, Pratikraman, Pravachan, Bhakti, Aarti-Mangal Devo, Aangi, Tapasya, Ekasana, and Swamivatsalya lunch. The following key auspicious days will also be celebrated – Sapna Ceremony, Samavatsari Day, Parna Day, Dhoop Dashmi, Anant Chaturdashi and Kshamavani.

We are reiterating the RSVP based meal token system during the Paryushan Parva 2017, so please do accurate RSVP, ***Remember every RSVP/token costs money, somewhere in the range of $6 to $9 per plate when outside vendor prepare the food, particularly during Paryushan Parva.*** Please cooperate.
Also, please note this year, our team awarded the Paryushan Parva food contract to Shri Hasmukh bhai Patel, who is well known local name to JCNC, he will be now performing his duties as a vendor, we request to community members, please follow the general food guidelines during Paryushan time such as - no Tiffins, no Dabbas, no take away meals, don’t interfere or socialize with him while he’s at the duty, only limited / designated people will be allowed in the kitchen, please let Hasmukh bhai focus to his job.
Finally, I’m glad to share that Paryushan 2017 planning team is ready and working hard to carry out the Jain festivity, hundreds of volunteers are engaged to make this auspicious, shashwat Paryushan Mahaparva more rewarding to our community members. This
year, apart from introducing several new events at JCNC, there has been
Chhatra chadava ceremony, installation of new surveillance camera
system along with many add-on new items. Also our Sangh is very fortunate that several dignitaries have visited so far this year in 2017: Saman Shri Shrutaprajnaji, Shri Nayanbhai Sanghavi, Shri Harshbhai Chhadva, Aacharya Shri Chandanaji and Sadhvi Shri Sanghamitraji, Samniji Shri Bhavit Pragyaji & Samniji Shri Ratna Pragyaji ,
Vidhikar Shri Narendra bhai Nanduji, Singer Shri Kummar Chatterjee,
Shri Dipakbhai Bhimani. Additionally, LA Jain Sangh (Mahila Mandal,
about 40 ladies) visited JCNC and JCNC Mumukshu Sangh (70+ people) visited NJ. As announced earlier, bod driven JCNC construction work will start in the last quarter of the year, and so we will limit the new events and activities for some time. Clearly, JCNC activities have increased, the volunteer force needed to implement these activities has also increased. I urge you all to come forward and participate in volunteer work and carry the ownership of taking the JCNC to the next level. Once again, on behalf of JCNC Board, Executive Committee and all Volunteers I would like to extend my warm greetings and pray to Lord Adinath that all of us be the source of progress and the power of positive energy all around.
