Coordinated by: Mitesh bhai and Jayshree ben Sheth (specialactivities@jcnc.org) | Chaitya Paripati September 25, 2021 | Chaitya Paripati is the fifth kartavya (duty) of Shravaks and requires visiting chaityalaya, pilgrimage sites and Jin derasar within the community as a group and conducting various rituals at the derasar being visited. Chaitya Paripati is a great way to amplify spiritual vibrations within the community. | This is the first year when Chaitya Paripati has been arranged by JCNC within the Bay Area. We are using the following criteria to select Jin derasar where the Sakal Sangh will visit: Should be the own pratima ji of the Gruhasta in their own Jin derasar Should have conducted 18 Abhishek of the pratima The Jin pratima should be set in a separate place free from household items and there should be no other laukik dev devi or kul dev-devi photos. Sanctity of the space should be upheld.
Accordingly, the program will start at 7:30 AM in Fremont and end at 11 AM at JCNC. We are currently requesting multiple Sanghpati sponsors for this yatra. Ghar derasar laabharthi families are requested to permit darshan visits in the afternoon although they are not required do so. The exact addresses, program sequence, and laabharthi information will be available shortly. In the meantime, please reach out to us with questions by emailing religious@jcnc.org. Coordinated by: Alpesh bhai Shah (ajjs600@gmail.com) | Feedback on Paryushan programs | The recently concluded JCNC Paryushan program brought together the community in introspection, worship, and tapasya. Khoob khoob anumodana of our Tapasvis from the youngest to the senior most and to all the labharthi families for taking laabhs, big and small during this Paryushan. We received a series of religious lectures from Acharya Roop Chandra ji Maharaj, Prof. Jitendra bhai Shah and Shri Pramod bhai Patel. We have to recognize the hard work of many Religious Committee members and volunteers who conducted so many different pratikraman, arti, Snatra puja, Parna, and Navkarshi. There are so many of them, it is impossible to list them all. Every single one of them stepped up to take their responsibility and delivered beyond anyone's expectation. Just see the numbers - 1. We had a record number of 9 different samvatsari pratikraman options across all traditions 2. We had over 100 atthai tapasyas within our community and over 160 registered Tapasvis We are working diligently to improve our program content and delivery. To do that, we need to ask for your feedback and have put together this short, anonymous 5 minute survey. Please take the time to help us improve our traditional religious programs.
