Sihashan (सिंहासन) Ceremony

The Sihashan is an auspicious Jain symbol, it's one of the  eight pratiharyas, which is also known as the heavenly signs which always remains near the Tirthankara.

We are very pleased to announce that Throne - Sihashan ceremony will also be performed during this auspicious Paryushan Maha Parva 2017. These auspicious Sihashan are made up with pure silver with beautiful wooden supported artwork in India and brought up here for this occasion. We’ll have gheeboli chadhava for all three Sihashan, the gheeboli will start during the morning pravachan on Friday, August 25, Gheeboli will continue  during the Samuhik  Samavatsari Pratrikamn in the auditorium and Chadhava will be given same day before Aarti-Mangal Divo.

The vidhi will be done next day morning on Saturday, August 26th, just after the dwar opening ceremony in the guidance of Shri Jitubhai Shah. Please consider this as an unique and a lifetime opportunity and plan to participate in chadhava and take dharma-laabh.

·  Haveli (25 corning Ave) Parking lot (between 3:30 pm - 8:00 PM only on Friday, 8/25

·  529 South Main Street Parking lot (between 3:30 pm - 8:00 PM only on Friday, 8/25

Please note, we need your help, we are very much short in parking at JCNC, please carpool wherever possible and take seva-laabh. Please do not park at neighboring businesses. Please do not park at next door Montessori School.

 

Please be cautious for the safety of you and your family while walking, crossing the busy street.
